What's for Dinner?
Eating Well in an emergency
This section is for emergencies. It’s dinnertime, you have nothing prepared, no plan and no idea what to fix. You are inches away from ordering pizza or going ot the closest drive-thru. But…you promised your practitioner and yourself that you would take good care of your body. Following are some bare bones guidelines for how to come up with a quick, nourishing, delicious meal out of thin air (almost…I’m not quite that good. You do have to have some semblance of ingredients on hand).
Your goal is to produce a meal containing at least two vegetables (one cooked and one raw), a protein and optionally a carb (starchy food like potatoes, grains, winter squash).
This section is under construction.
Meanwhile, see below for dinner ideas.
Dinner Ideas
"I love the diet I'm on. I don't even crave the bad foods anymore. I used to be an ice-cream-aholic! Instead, I pig out on snow peas like they are Oreo cookies. I love greens! My body recognizes what it needs and wants more."
- SherieTestimonial
"I was surprised to learn how truly bad for you refined sugars are, and how good for you the right fats are. I was surprised to realize that a large part of it is what I eat and the detrimental chemicals in my environment."
- J.B.Testimonial
"I like that Dr. Carling incorporates nutrition as a key part of treatment - providing the needed nutritional "building blocks" for the body to restore itself."
- Sue
