At Vital Health, our mission is to give each and every patient the tools they need to engage the power of their body’s innate healing mechanisms. Everyone has this innate capacity to heal. If it’s not healing optimally, our job is to do some investigating and discover why. Are the proper nutrients available to engage the healing process? Is there another underlying factor that is inhibiting the body from healing? Once we identify the underlying problem and address it at the root level, healing occurs naturally.
People sometimes fall into the trap of explaining away symptoms as unrelated or unfixable. An example might be someone choosing not to do anything about signs of heart disease because it is in their family history. They mistakenly feel genetically doomed to follow in their footsteps. Fortunately, we live in an exciting time where we are becoming increasingly aware of the dynamic nature of the human body. The field of genetics has given way to epigenetics where we are able to see that the expression of our genetic code is in fact constantly influenced by the choices we make and can be drastically altered throughout our lifetime. Our mission is to teach each patient that they have the power to take control of their innate, remarkable adaptability and healing capacity.
As the guides on your healthcare journey, it is our job to identify the underlying problem and how to bring you back to a state of nourished, vibrant health. Symptoms are simply your body’s way of telling you that something is wrong. One of the most rewarding aspects of practice is teaching patients about their symptoms and what they mean. Patient conversations tend to evolve from, “Oh, I didn’t know that could be related to my other symptoms or even fixed”, to asking about new or unnoticed things they experience. This is a sign that the person is learning to pay attention to their body and the signals it is sending.
We look at each symptom like a piece of a puzzle. Our exclusive evaluation process, the Complete Bio-Functional Analysis, utilizes over 27 different assessment tools, that allow us to find the often overlooked “puzzle pieces,” that are essential in producing a complete picture of what is happening in the body. When we fit all of the pieces together, and are able to see the big picture, we develop a deeper understanding of your entire system and the best way to support it.
At Vital Health, practitioners and patients work as a team on the wellness journey. Sharing in the joy of seeing our patients succeed in achieving a state of wellness is the precise reason that we enjoy serving this community so much!
